For younger people

Children at All Saints

Young people, children and babies are very welcome at All Saints and it is our desire they feel this is their church as much as anyone else.

Parents should feel free to come and go with young children and babies, using the children’s corner in church, along with any other spaces they feel are suitable for their child’s wellbeing and their convenience. Please don’t feel any pressure to take crying or feeding babies out of the service unless you want to.

´╗┐What’s On for Children?

The first Sunday of every month is an All Age Service, which is family friendly and all ages stay together for worship in church.

On other Sundays the children can have time in their own groups discussing, exploring and responding to a theme which is usually linked to that being explored by the adults. The children leave the main service after the first hymn and are welcomed back into the service after the sermon and prayers so that they can join in with sharing the peace and communion.

Occasionally there is a special event or celebration, where all the children get together in the Church Hall, but mostly the children go into smaller groups corresponding to their age: Pre School Praise for preschoolers, Little and Big Aztec for infant and Junior ages.

Do ask the wardens at the back of church, or any of the clergy if you wish to know more and pass on your email or contact details via them so that we can send you information about family and children’s events and stay in touch. Also you can check out the Facebook page .....
